Zambia HIV/AIDS Leadership Forum

The Programme

1. Establishing Learning Partners: Each NGO Partner will be linked with a member of our international Delivery Team forming a coaching and learning relationship for the duration of the programme.

2. Partner Visit: Learning Partners will come together in Zambia for a workplace meeting lasting up to a day to explore the participant's context, establish leadership goals and prepare for the retreat.

3. The Leadership Retreat: The Cohort will come together for a three-day retreat to explore themes of Self, Team and Community leadership facilitated by our Delivery Team.

4. Leadership in Action: Following the retreat, a two day Community Action Project will demonstrate Leadership In Action alongside members of the community and lead to the intensive transformation of a HIV/AIDS Centre.

5. Learning in Action: The Community Action Project will be the basis for a workshop of learning reflection, workplace transferrance and action planning.

6. Cohort Presentation: The culmination of the programme will be a presentation of learnings and commitments by the Cohort to an assembled audience of sponsors and stakeholders, followed by a celebratory evening.

7. Partner Visit: A final workplace meeting will occur between Learning Partners to ensure implementation of learnings has commenced. This will be followed by remote coaching by the Delivery Team.

8. Cohort Review: A month following the programme, the Cohort will again meet in a facilitated workshop, to review successes, learnings and determine future actions.
