Your best day at Impact (so far...)?
Any of the days on the staff trips to Austria or Eilat, and the day I came for my interview – thorough grilling from Bob, a pint with Broomy chatting on the terrace at Cragwood, then Bob offering me the job!
Last journey you took?
The Three Counties Challenge – 126 mile road bike event, including lots of big climbs, with a few other Impact masochists. Pain is just weakness leaving the body. Apparently
What’s on your desk?
A rubber viking outfit & plastic axe (?), sandwiches, snacks, bottle of water, strong black coffee, pair of Oakleys, 2 gold-nibbed fountain pens..... oh, and some work!
Proudest moment at work?
Exposing myself to the HR Director of Odeon Cinemas (a lady) in the showers at Cragwood, and getting away with it
How do you deal with stress?
Cycling. Heavy metal. Not at the same time, though – that’d be dangerous
Favourite place?
Holidaying on the North Devon coast, cycling in the Lake District & Yorkshire Dales, or at home with Hilary & the boys

My father – he died when I was 6, be nice to catch up with him
