National Business Award: Impact are regional winners!
Impact win the Corporate Responsibility Award for the North West of England.
Impact are thrilled to announce we have added another trophy to our cabinet! We entered the regional National Business Awards and are proud to have won the Corporate Social Responsibility Award for the North West of England.
We were successful because we “demonstrated a company-wide commitment to CSR and a clearly articulated and widely communicated CSR strategy embedded in our business strategy, together with examples of policies or projects that positively impact on the local community in terms of the environment, local employment, local education or charitable work”.
The National Business Awards are open to any company within the UK, whether public or private, regardless of size or industry. In our region, we were up against Barclays Business Banking Centre, QVC and Chess: Smarter Telecoms.
Impact's Founder and MD, David Williams thanked the Impact Team for their enthusiasm and commitment to our many community based activities, as without this it would have been impossible to win the award.
We now go forward to the national finals on 13 November, where (amongst others) we will be up against Asda Stores and Exeter Football Club. Watch this space!
