Hamish Wilson [Relief & Development]

hamish_wilson.jpgJob title
Head of the Impact Relief and Development Group

Who makes you laugh?
Dave William’s hawaiian shirts, and Borat

Last journey you took?
A 3 week assignment to Tajikistan and Afghanistan to conduct a strategic review of the Christian Aid relief operation in the region. Despite the potholes, rubble, smoke-belching russian cars, armoured vehicles and bearded men with AK47s, it is a fascinating area...

What’s on your desk?
I don’t have one! I spend most of my time working from cafes, aeroplanes, trains, odd offices in strange places and the occasional street corner...

How do you deal with stress?
By bursting into tears on the shoulder of my mate Ian (who also is part of the RaD team) after something bad has happened

3 people you’d have dinner with (dead or alive)?
Gandolf, Buddha and George Bush (can he really be like that?)
