I don’t really do heroes as they rarely live up to their image but I respect anyone who is good at what they do

Monday mornings – you get to see all your mates!

Who makes you laugh?
Morecambe and Wise, Blackadder, Robin Williams

Last journey you took?
Just got back from four weeks in Thailand with my wife Theresa and three children it was a great journey.

What’s on your desk?
Don’t have a desk, I don’t believe they add much value, I’m nomadic

Proudest moment at work?
Working as an consultant to the 1997 British Lions and winning the series

How do you deal with stress?
Write songs and try to play guitar (working on the difficult second album right now!). I also do a lot of running

Favourite place?
The desert states of the USA but you can’t beat the Lakes on a fresh Autumn day

3 people you’d have dinner with (dead or alive)?
Jo, Mena and Ruby (my three kids) and it happens most nights
