Challenge

Following our work with the senior managers of Alleanza, Impact Italia were asked to manage Alleanza’s convention for their top 600 commercial people. Impact were tasked with developing their annual event into an inspirational experiential learning journey, to be held on the small Greek Island of Kos.
 
The main aims were to:
•    Celebrate economic success and build a positive focus for the future
•    Develop and strengthen networks and relationships across Italy
•    Improve team working, time management, result orientation and other skills essential at Alleanza.

Solution

The programme divided the 600 participants into 40 teams.  Each team was tasked with a number of experiential projects offering the opportunity to develop and improve the abilities of team working, time management and other skills. During the convention the teams had to integrate with the local population of Kos to create a folkloristic photographic contest.

The convention culminated with an artistic display of sculptures depicting Alleanza’s themes.  Participants also presented a two-minute pantomime in which they represented the future of the company. These were performed in the Greek amphitheatre to an audience of the top management from Alleanza.

To celebrate the success of the programme, participants enjoyed a gala dinner, award ceremony and a cabaret attended by two Italian television celebrities!

Result

Throughout the programme, the participants experienced teamwork in action and were able to network and build relationships with colleagues from across Italy.
